Chapter 1
Welcome to The Cozy Hour
Olivia Chao
Hi hi everyone, and welcome to The Cozy Hour! I’m so excited to finally be here with you. This is our very first episode, and honestly, I’m already feeling like we’re all just hanging out together, you know?
Olivia Chao
So, for those of you who don’t know me yet, I’m Olivia, and I’m, well, a total creative at heart. I mean, ever since I was little, I’ve been that kid who always had way too many ideas and probably spent too much time talking to myself. And and it kinda turns out that podcasts are the perfect outlet for that, right?
Olivia Chao
A little about me—grew up in a small, quiet town with my family where tradition was everything. But also, let me tell ya, I was totally that kid binging sitcoms and k-drama on the regular. Like Alice and borderland! That show is super good. Also can't wait for season 3 of Squid Games. Anyways, It’s—it's been a balancing act of two worlds, but honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I think it really shaped how I view creativity... like, blending different styles and vibes to make something unique. So, you’re definitely gonna see a lot of that here.
Olivia Chao
Now, The Cozy Hour is really my way of bringing those late-night, rambling-but-fun convos with friends into a space we can all share. I want it to be super chill, no pressure, where we just chat about life, creativity, and whatever else comes up. Basically, think of this as your cozy corner to unwind and explore some cool ideas together.
Olivia Chao
Oh, and! I can’t forget to mention Angel’s Vision Studio. Thanks to that studio for bringing the cozy hour to life. That studio uses AI to, like, bring wild ideas to life. Not just that, but it really, really, speeds up the creative process. Seriously, you’d be shocked at how much AI helps out during brainstorming sessions, or even with game design. And let me tell you, some of my best ideas come at the most random times—like two a.m. with snacks nearby kinda random. You’ll probably hear a lot more about that as we go because, trust me, the process is never boring!
Olivia Chao
So, yeah, welcome again! I hope you’re as pumped as I am for what’s to come. Grab some snacks, some coffee, and let’s make this hour cozy and enjoyable.
Chapter 2
From Inspiration to Creation
Olivia Chao
Alright, let’s dive into some inspiring stuff, shall we? So, over at Angel’s Vision Studio, we’re always looking for ways to, you know, spark creativity and spread good vibes. That’s kind of our whole thing. And one of the ways we’re doing that is with a brand-new motivational series called Be Inspired. Honestly, I’m just—I'm so excited for this, you guys.
Olivia Chao
If you’ve followed the CARE series from a few years ago, like around 2019 or 2020, this is sort of a spiritual successor to that. But Be Inspired is gonna take things to the next level. It’s all about those moments when you feel stuck or like, overwhelmed, and you just need someone to remind you that, hey, you’ve got this. Whether it’s chasing your dreams or just navigating the everyday chaos, I want this series to be like a little nudge, you know? Something that makes you wanna try again, no matter what. I would love to say more, however, I think it’s best to wait for more info on another episode. Can’t put all your eggs in one basket ya know?
Olivia Chao
And speaking of creativity, I have to tell you about One Last Spring. Oh my gosh, where do I even start with this? It’s a one-shot manga we’re putting out this spring, and it is—it’s such an emotional one. Like, it’s for anyone who’s had that one perfect, unforgettable moment, but also knowing it’s just a memory now. You know what I mean? It’s kinda bittersweet, and it hits that spot where nostalgia meets this, like, gentle ache. I’m really hoping it resonates with you as much as it did for us while working on it.
Olivia Chao
One Last Spring is all about those last days spent with close friends you maybe didn’t keep in touch with, or classmates you thought you’d see forever but just... didn’t. And and it’s incredible how those stories stick with you, even years later. The two main characters are Dylan and Hikari. There’s also a bit of romance in this one too. So, definitely keep an eye out because, trust me, this story’s gonna take you right back to those moments.
Olivia Chao
Okay, switching gears a bit. If you’re like me and love having some chill music in the background while working or even just daydreaming, do I have something for you. We’ve launched a new lofi YouTube channel called SereniFi! It’s all about calm, relaxing lofi tunes, kinda like the soundtrack to those lazy afternoons when you’re just vibing or need some peace and quiet to focus. The first video is already up, and honestly, it’s perfect for setting the tone while you’re brainstorming or journaling. Or, you know, maybe doing absolutely nothing—and that’s totally valid too! Oh wait….what?…………….really?…..Ok, so I just got news! A new SereniFi video will be out soon! Votes are in and the next theme is video game lofi!!! That’s exciting! Thank you for those who voted and we hope you look forward to it!!
Olivia Chao
Music is, like, something I really, really love, so SereniFi is something I’m really proud of. It’s almost like having a cozy little musical retreat, just a click away. And if you check it out, let me know what you think—you know I’m always curious about how you guys experience these projects.
Chapter 3
Project Horror: New Ventures
Olivia Chao
Okay, okay, guys, brace yourselves because I’ve been dying to share this. Let’s talk about Project Horror. It’s honestly one of the most ambitious things we’ve taken on at Angel’s Vision Studio, and it’s already giving me chills—in, like, the best way possible.
Olivia Chao
So, picture this: Ethan Graves is this paranormal journalist—totally dedicated, but also carrying some real emotional baggage. He’s searching for answers about his sister, Lillian Graves, who passed away 10 years ago under these super mysterious circumstances. And where does the story take him? To none other than Twilight Manor. If you’re not already creeped out just hearing that name, I don’t know—maybe you’re braver than me!
Olivia Chao
Twilight Manor is...well, how do I even describe it? It’s eerie, it’s haunting, and it’s like, its own character. Every shadow, every creak of the floorboards—it all adds to the experience. Ethan is determined to uncover the truth about what happened to his sister, and honestly, the twists and turns are gonna keep you on edge the whole time. Like, I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it.
Olivia Chao
And oh, the voice acting! This is a huge highlight, you guys. Ethan Graves is being brought to life by the incredible Phil Maycott. You might know him as Cahd Games, but let me tell you, his range and his ability to capture all the nuances of Ethan’s character? It’s—it’s unreal. The emotion, the intensity, the vulnerability—it’s all there. I really think Phil’s performance is gonna take this game to a whole new level.
Olivia Chao
Now, let me throw this question out there—what makes a story truly scary for you? Is it the setting, like how Twilight Manor just oozes with atmosphere? Or do you think it’s more about the emotional stakes, like Ethan’s personal connection to his sister? I’d love for you to think about that while you’re playing or even just hearing about the game. For me, it’s that mix of the two—where the story makes you feel something deep and, at the same time, has you jumping at every sound.
Olivia Chao
I can’t wait for you to experience Project Horror firsthand when it launches on Steam and itch.io in 2025. It’s such a labor of love, and I know it’s gonna leave you spooked in the best way possible. Mark your calendars—this is one story you do not wanna miss.
Olivia Chao
And that, my friends, wraps up this episode of The Cozy Hour! It’s been so much fun sharing all these updates with you—be sure to check out a new Good Vibes Only vlog coming this month, our Be Inspired series, One Last Spring, SereniFi, and of course, keep an eye out for Project Horror. Thank you so, so much for tuning in, and until next time, stay safe, take care, and as always, stay cozy!
